November Challenge Winner and Wrap-Up

Sorry for the delay in announcing our November winner, I was out of tow until Sunday, then a big snow storm knocked out net access yesterday.

Thank you to everyone who entered our first cooking club challenge. We got some terrific entries. And congratulations to Wolfgang Diva of La Dolce Dente who was chosen at random from all the entrants as the winner of the Fall Favorite prize package giveaway!

EVENT WRAP-UP

Our winner, Wolfgang Diva entered her original recipe for Pumpkin Spice Muffins with Cream Cheese Glaze (pictured top of this post). In addition to FabulousFoods.com, you can find this recipe at Wolfgang Diva's blog La Dolce Dente .

Eliot Brown entered twice, once by preparing Jorge Cruise's Chunky Turkey Salad with Cranberries and Walnuts and also by entering his original Brine for Turkey recipe to FabulousFoods.com. This brine produces a really moist and flavorful bird, and the turkey salad is a great way to use the leftovers.

Arizona Rowan entered her original recipe for Cranberry Fudge Cookies (pictured left). These delicious cookies are quick and easy to make using a brownie mix.

Amanda Formaro of Amanda's Cookin' made Fine Cooking's Cranberry Streusel Cake. See Amanda's photos and read about how she made this recipe her own at her blog post about it.

Kate of Cooking and Kitchen Stories submitted her Cran-Apple Pie at cookingandkitchenstories.blogspot.com/2008/11/cran-apple-piebetter-than-raisin.html.

Soli Deo Gloria prepared Autumn Apple Pork Chops and blogged about it at her blog Heart and Hearth. This was Gloria's first experience cooking with apples as they aren't that common in the Philippines. Congratulations on using a new ingredient!

Yasmeen from Health Nut submitted two fabulous original recipes to FabulousFoods.com:
Nutella Cake with Cranberries and Pomegranates and Spiced Apple and Pomegranate Pie. Both of these dessert would make welcome additions to any holiday buffet.
